Today was a quantity not quality day.

And I love days like this. Must have pulled in over 20 fish and just over 2 hours. Most of them were 8 to 10 in. Some were significantly smaller. But I don't care as long as they're biting. These wild Red band rainbows are sure strong for their size.

My new killer fly

For two seasons, now, the purple Elk hair Caddis has been my killer fly. Out here on my local river, it seems like no matter what I try I always end up coming back to this one.

But recently, I switched from Elk hair to CDC for Caddis wings, and...oh man....

I think it has something to do with the way it lands on the water. But it just drives them crazy.

Updated to Gemini by going through the settings menu

I had been waiting for my Gemini to update through an OTA. But today I just went into the settings and there it was as an option. So if you're interested in doing that just go into the Google settings and you might see an option to upgrade.

Air fryer eggs on avocado toast

This is my favorite post-workout lunch. 320° F for 6 minutes in a silicone ramekin. Topped with everything bagel seasoning, and a splash of sriracha.

First camping trip a huge success.

2 days running frunk fridge, sleep with HVAC, cooking, starlink, etc. Used about 5%.

Does anyone else use CDC for a parachute post?

I've always used yarn or calves hair for the post. I generally prefer hackle to CDC, but today I decided to try CDC's for just the post. I'd never really tried that before and I have to say I'm quite happy with how it looks. Do any of you do that?
