Camping suggestions by Gladwin/Roscommon?

I'm considering a short 1-night trip up that way for some birding and was wondering what state/national forest campgrounds people recommend? I would love to disperse, but with the last-minute nature and cramped schedule, I think it would be easier to stay at one of the many rustic campgrounds there I have never been to, especially since most are first come first serve. Anything withing ~45 minutes of those areas is fine, and ideally whatever is as beautiful, quiet, rustic, and remote feeling as possible! Being on water is a plus of course. Thanks for any tips!

Need help finding my mom a windows laptop with good battery life - $1500 budget

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE

  • Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: $1500, could do more if needed but would rather do less.
  • Are you open to refurbs/used? No
  • How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? It needs to be durable and have good battery life.
  • How important is weight and thinness to you? Not particularly
  • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. Larger is better.
  • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Just a ton of browser tabs and documents open.
  • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? She is adamant about the following: Backlit keyboard, no touchscreen, and reliable build quality as she has had older laptops literally crack and fall apart on her after enough time. Her thinkpad she currently has has not.
  • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. Basically, my moms thinkpad she got about 8 or so years ago had a puff of smoke come out of the charging port, so she needs a new laptop. She has generally liked the thinkpad, but the battery has become weak, so I got a new one from ebay and installed it for her and it did not change much unfortunately. She literally just uses her laptop to browse the web and look at documents in word, but she will keep an unholy amount of tabs open at the same time, i'm talking hundreds, so she needs a laptop that can handle that and not freak out. Thank you for any help i've been out of the laptop market too long to know whats good now, other than that macbooks are the best but she doesn't want to switch unfortunately.
