I have absolutely 0 experience cutting hair, but I’ve decided to take the plunge and start doing my own self-haircuts at home. I’m looking for a premium, reliable setup that will last me a long time. I don't mind making a solid one-time investment upfront if it means getting a high-quality tool that makes the learning curve a bit smoother.
I’ve narrowed down my choices to two popular options available on Amazon UK right now, but I'm torn on which direction to go for a solo setup:

Since I am doing this entirely on my own head, which of these would you recommend for a beginner?

Stuck between buying the Wahl Cordless Barber Combo (Black & Gold) or just getting the JRL Onyx Clipper on its own.For overall performance, ease of use, and value for money right now, which route is best? Is the JRL Onyx tech worth buying standalone and pairing with a separate trimmer, or is the Wahl all-in-one combo still the king?
