I installed my new RTX 5080 AORUS and started playing Battlefield 6. At first there was no coil whine at all, even with uncapped FPS. I was getting around 150 FPS at overkill settings and up to 250 FPS with frame generation 2x, and the card was completely quiet.

Then I ran FurMark for about 1 minute. During the stress test I suddenly noticed some coil whine. It wasn’t extremely loud, but after that, the same coil whine also started happening in Battlefield, where previously there was none.

Now I’m wondering if this is normal or if FurMark somehow triggered it permanently.
