The ban on talking about Book 8 outside of the dedicated megathread, which was originally slated to be one month long, is instead ending this Friday, May 22nd. Thursday will be the last day where book 8 posts are removed. This policy worked in the past, but there are just too dang many of you. The megathread has gotten unwieldy, and y'all deserve a better way of talking about the batshit insanity that Matt just injected into our earholes and eyeballs.
Before anyone complains about this ending early: this edict comes directly from the bossman himself. We will continue taking book 8 posts down for the next two days, but after that it'll be fair game.

You may have gotten an email from Audible saying there is a revised version of the audiobook available. The new version fixes three things - chapter metadata, the lack of pauses between chapters, and the cut-off sentence in the last post credits scene. There is no new content, it just makes for a better listening experience.
To access the updated version, you should delete the audiobook and redownload it.
Also don't forget to go to Settings -> Data & Storage -> set Download Quality to High. Audible by default sets it to low and severely reduces the quality of large books (like DCC). You'll have to redownload in order to get the good quality version. Jeff deserves only the best!
