Hi! We are getting desperate here! As the title suggests, my husband needs a job in Huntsville. He’s been trying to get a job for about six months and everyone seems either close the job without replying to him/ simply fills it internally.

He has a bachelors degree from the University of Florida in Economics.

Yes, he’s applied to a few government jobs, but he hasn’t heard back from them and we’re getting nervous.

He worked in construction for 2 years, worked in 3PL inventory for 2 years after that. He’s looking to further his experience in logistics/supy chain if he can, or pivot into a any sort of technician role for an engineering company as he’s planning to go back to school for civil engineering.

We will be moving to south Huntsville at the end of June, and if he cannot secure a job, then I will have to go back to teaching. He will then need to find shifts and weekend work. We have a baby and we really feel as though I should stay home with her. But if that’s not possible, then one of us should be at home with her. If you know of anyone hiring, please reply!

Help! My baby has always resisted naps, but it’s gotten SO much worse! Next week, she will be 10months.

She only sleeps for about 30 mins for day time naps (occasionally, she’ll sleep for about an hour or so). Total day time naps are 1 hour to maybe 1.5 hours. Everything I’ve read says that’s a problem… and yes, she’s pretty fussy. It seems like she’s over tired. On the days she sleeps more, she’s so much happier.

I try to follow: 3/3.5/4

Wake- 6/6:30am

Nap 1- 9/9:30am

Nap 2- 12:30-2pm

Bed- 6-7:30pm

She sleeps through the night. She loves to eat! She’s a great eater so she’s not hungry. She can crawl and stand but not walk yet. Some teeth are coming in slowly, but I don’t think that’s a problem.

And yes, her room is dark and noise machine is on and she has a routine. She’s also been sleep trained-Ferber method. But she will scream for 30 min + sometimes!

Today, she fought me from 9am-11:30am!!!! Help!
