Ireland AP wages

Hello,

Wondering if anyone can clarify incentives beyond the pay stated in the salary scales for AP’s in the NAS (I see for a year one AP it would be approx 38,000+11,000)? Premiums, overtime rate et al. Or if anyone can provide a collective agreement/union agreement with wage and incentives?

Canadian pay stud equivalents for context.

Moving home as an AP, looking at NAS and other services

Hi all, looking to move back to Ireland as an AP (got my education outside of Ireland so never involved in health care in Ireland/NI before). I’ve put myself on the PHECC register already. Looking for advice from any AP’s in the NAS or other about what starting as an AP might look like?

Are there too few/too many AP’s?
Are there areas of the country where getting work would be much more difficult?
What does job advancement look like?
What does pay look like at the end of the year after any shift premiums/overtime etc?
How is the overall work culture?

Thanks in advance,
