I have this bottle of 1979 Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque. From what I’ve read, you need to prove provenance- which I unfortunately don’t have. Am I still able to sell this?
My grandfather purchased the bottle in the early 80s if he remembers correctly. It’s been stored in a regular refrigerator (I know that decreases the value). It’s been kept in its own drawer for all of these years. I also have these two hand painted glasses that came with the bottle. No box, no proof of purchase. There is a small tear on the foil covering the cork (picture included). Not sure what my options are as far as appraisal/selling. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
