It's 6am I should be sleeping. I can't.

I work in a toxic work environment.

I've worked for this company for over 20 years.

I had to deal with a toxic co worker for the past two years. I brought it up to management and nothing has happened. Complaints fallen on death ears. Being blocked in my career path by a nasty string of corporate politics.

Now facing the possibility of repercussions. Weighing my options. GOD I'm an idiot for staying too long in this damn job so long! The customers! The lack of support of management! 55 years old I don't know what the fuck to do!

I feel myself pulling away from my friends

After some long consideration, I'm looking at moving to Scotland to join my husband. He lives in Scotland. I live in Canada. We been dating for 13 years. We got married last year.

We're now looking into the immigration process. We were advised to get the spousal visa since we did the marriage route. How long will it take? How difficult will it to be able to move? ..etc. I definitely want to here from some EX-Pat Canucks who made the transition from Canada to Scotland.

Nervous; however, excited about the move 😄
