McDaniel College: transferring, education, etc.?

Posting here bc the McDaniel sub seems to be a ghost town.

Hi y’all! I recently moved to Carroll County not long ago, and I am currently attending the community college for Accounting.
My goal is to transfer to a 4-year university to receive a BA/Bs in Accounting, and then go down the path of becoming a CPA (because I enjoy pain and suffering).
Has anyone attended McDaniel, taught at McDaniel, or anything that would have some 411 on their accounting program? I’ve received info from their admissions, but I wanted to get a real-feel from others that have experienced it themselves.
My only impression of McDaniel is the college kids stumbling down Main Street on Friday nights lol.

I am also heavily considering UMGC for flexibility and cost, but since McDaniel is like super close for me, I thought about getting some more info.

If anyone has experience with McDaniel, transferring and/or the accounting program, please let me know.

Thank you!

Accounting BA while working full-time, weighing options

Hi everyone! I know this question has been asked before recently when I looked through this sub, but I am a current community college student in Maryland, and will be considering transferring for accounting in the next year or so.
I live in Carroll County and work full-time for a state agency (they do tuition assistance!) , so I am considering 3 different options for pursuing a BA in accounting: UMGC, McDaniel, or Towson.

I am hoping to pursue a CPA license in the future once I have the necessary credits.

The only reason I am considering McDaniel is due to the fact it’s right down the street, I am unsure as to how their accounting program is besides reviews and the information their admissions office has given me.

I am looking to see which of these programs might be good for me, or if anyone has experience with any of them and can compare to UMGC.

Thank you!!
