Cedar Hills Neighborhood Garage Sale next weekend + Native plant pop up sale!

Cedar Hills Neighborhood Garage Sale next weekend + Native plant pop up sale!

I'll be participating in the Cedar Hills Neighborhood Garage Sale on Saturday & Sunday, July 11–12, from 8:00 AM–3:00 PM next weekend https://www.cedarhillshoa.org/calendar/annual-garage-sale-2

In addition to the garage sale, I'll also be hosting a Pacific Northwest native plant pop-up sale! Many of my neighbors+redditors have already purchased plants, and I'd love to help you find something for your yard.

I'm also accepting pre-orders and can source additional native plants if there's something on your wish list that I don't currently have. Pre-ordering is encouraged so you won't miss out if a popular plant sells out, and it helps me know how many plants to bring in from the nursery.

Message me here or text me at (503) 893-9161 to pre-order. I don't want to blast my exact address publicly on an anonymous forum but you can find me just off of SW Jenkins and SW Edgemoor, there will signage and gold balloons. https://maps.app.goo.gl/a69EStTvmACYegcz8

Garage sale items include:

-Golf clubs, golf bags, used golf balls — 4 for $1 and other golf equipment
-Baby clothes, Women's Nike clothes and size 8.5 Nike shoes
-Washed dog toys — 50¢ each or 3 for $1
-EGO lawn mower and edger
-Books
-Kitchen items including a Kitchen Aid Mixer and a Breville Juicer
Plus many more household items!

Stop by, say hello, and hopefully you'll find a few treasures—or the perfect native plant for your garden!

Native Plants for Sale in Cedar Hills!

I posted another thread asking about community bulletin boards where I could advertise native plants. Since there was enough interest, I decided to make a separate post and use r/Beaverton as a community bulletin board as well.

I've been buying native plants wholesale and reselling them locally at discounted prices to help make native landscaping more accessible on the west side. Native plants can be surprisingly expensive, and there aren't many native-focused nurseries nearby.

I've been selling through Facebook Marketplace and Nextdoor. Some of you may have seen my post on Nextdoor—it got a lot of positive feedback before someone reported it and it was taken down. 😅

Current plant availability and contact information can be found here:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aI2lNIELK1-Hu2RGFLX6gjClM6w3ZQJQzpW-ZibtgaU/edit?usp=sharing

Current inventory:

• Blanketflower
• Broadleaf Stonecrop (Sedum spathulifolium 'Cape Blanco')
• Broadleaf Stonecrop (Sedum spathulifolium 'Purpureum')
• Common Snowberry
• Douglas Spiraea
• Evergreen Huckleberry
• Goldenrod
• Kinnikinnick
• Mock Orange
• Nootka Rose
• Oceanspray
• Oregon Stonecrop
• Oregon Sunshine
• Red Flowering Currant
• Salal
• Scouler Willow
• Sword Fern
• Tall Oregon Grape
• Western Serviceberry

I can also source other native plants depending on availability and desired size.

Feel free to message me here or use the contact information in the document if you're looking for something specific.

Where can I find a community bulletin board?

I've been buying native plants wholesale and re-selling it locally to neighbors discounted to promote access and planting of native plants on the west side. I have been on Nextdoor and Facebook marketplace, other than New Seasons, are there other community bulletin boards that I can post a flyer?
