Finally Hit 500k Net Worth💵

Finally hit ₱500k net worth earlier this year after 5+ years of working. I started tracking my finances two months ago and glad to see it in charts like this. Tracking every peso really helps see areas that needs improvement.

This year, I also started investing more aggressively. I’m still building my portfolio, but the plan is to keep increasing my investments as my income grows over the next few years.

I’m hoping to reach around ₱800k net worth by the end of the year. Still a long way to go, but I’m happy with the progress so far. Thanks!

IB Trading Fees

I’m trying to buy my first ETF through I B K R and have been checking the trading fees for VOO and CSPX. For this test, I used an amount of around $150–$160 and tried purchasing fractional shares. I noticed that the estimated commission and fees for VOO were only around $0.35, while for CSPX they were ~$1.81.

Could you help me understand if these estimates are accurate? Also, would the fee ratio change if I increase my investment amount to at least ₱30,000 per trade? I’m planning to DCA into CSPX with a minimum investment of ₱30,000 per transaction.

Has anyone here had a similar experience with I B K R fees for Irish-domiciled ETFs like CSPX compared to U.S.-domiciled ETFs such as VOO? I’d appreciate any insights. Thanks!

IBKR Access without changing DNS settings

I tried it last month, if I remember correctly, and found that it was blocked by Globe, my internet provider. I created an account using the mobile app and then tried accessing it through my Mac browser this week. This time, I was able to access it without changing any DNS settings. Am I missing something, or has something changed since then?

UPDATE:
I checked the website I’m using and noticed that it has an .au domain suffix. I was able to log in successfully and have already tried funding my account through Wise, although I’m still waiting for the funds to be reflected. Could this cause any issues?
