What is a "sprinkler lamp"?

I've found this blueprint pretty early in both my playthroughs, but without investing in researching and building it I'm unsure what the heck it is. Is it a combined sprinkler and lamp, or is it a lamp that fits over a sprinkler, or is it just a ceiling lamp with a very misleading name?

What are these big rectangle icons on the map?

So there are these big rectangles that look sort of like landscape paintings. The location itself looks like a big residential skyscraper with a mural on one side. I have not found a landing pad, and when I have enough turbines to get to their top and try to land the ship just passes through them. What are these for?

Can anybody verify they've found the workshop computer since the recent update?

I've been through the whole area twice, found three different rooms where people here or on Steam found it, but it's not in any of them. I'm wondering if the latest update made it not show up.

From the Steam person, they got the Tech Balloon core from it and I want to see that.

Workshop airship

So I've activated all three buttons below, but the crane controls for the airship both above and below just "beep" when I try to use them. I found an old walkthrough (which wasn't accurate for the power buttons any more) that said you can use the upper ones even before powering on. What is actually going on here?

Am I missing one of the ways to open a locked door?

I'm at the location for Nomad's terminal, and I'm pretty sure it's in one of the two rooms at the top of the complex. The problem is, both rooms have doors locked on the inside and no alternate entrances (like a roof panel or a side panel to extract to make a hole).

There's actually a paucity of things to extract on this map.

Alternatively, if this is procgen despite being a quest destination maybe I should go find it in another biome?

Goodies above the door to the Surface Lift...How do I get to them?

So I'm at the Surface Lift (the later one, not Noah's) and I've found the elevator but am looking around before going down. I got into the little office with the laptop and got a couple of recipes, but looking up above there are lobster fruit plants and some other things. Is that there to tease us or is there a way up there?

What is a "timebeast"?

I have this "timebeast echo chain" in a monolith, but I can't find any info with a web search (Google's hallucination bot thinks it's the same thing as a Rift Beast). What is it? Is this echo chain just going to be full of random rift beasts?

How is rail movement computed?

I haven't been able to figure out the details here. It's clear that you need a chain of stations to connect the endpoint stations, but I'm not sure how the game computes how far you can go if you have the connecting stations.

Q1: What is the maximum distance between stations that will let them connect as one "hop"?

Q2: I have three theories, can anybody confirm one or tell me a fourth way that is the correct one?

* Rail movement is a specific number of "hops", the exact distance doesn't matter

* Rail movement is computed by the distance between the start and end station, as long as they are connected

* Rail movement counts the straight-line distance between the stations on each hop, and the available rail movement per turn is a maximum on the sum of the hops

ToT victories need some tuning - and a way to disable some of them

So far out of 3 games I've been unable to reach the modern era because the cultural victory points have given me a cheap win in Exploration. Between building wonders in Antiquity and some of the immediate-reward Triumphs that add tourism to things like fortifications, it's too much.

Before the ToT update they'd added options to disable specific victories and their legacy paths; I dislike them because they disabled the underlying mechanics too, like no treasure fleets if you turned off economic victory. But with the rework of victories, just turning one off would be great. For that matter, turning off Exploration-era victories other than total conquest would be good too.

Where can I get veilwater basin *dirt*?

If it has plants growing on it, it's "fertile veilwater basin dirt". If not, it's "veilwater basin sand". If I dig under the fertile stuff I get shell limestone.

But non-fertile veilwater basin dirt is required for algae seedlings. Grrr.
