Astrophotography Lens

This is more a general Nikon Z question than specific to the Zf, but since I'm already on this group, I figured I'd ask.

Any recommendations for a fast, wide (ultra wide even) prime? For Canon I used a combination of the RF 16 2.8 and RF 24 1.8.

Something around the 20mm and F2 or faster would be ideal.

Yes, I can Google lens options, but I like having real world recommendations over specifications on a page.

I Work in a Film Lab, AMA

My day job is working in a high-street film lab. Most of my day is spent processing, scanning, printing and sending digital scans of people’s film. As you can imagine, that means we see pretty much everything that gets submitted, and we see a lot!

I’m also a photographer myself, so film was what originally drew me to the job. The rest of my work involves things like passport photos and printing digital photos from phones, cameras and memory cards, but it’s the film side that I find most interesting.

Ask me anything!

New to Nikon

Long-term Canon shooter, but I've finally joined the Nikon ranks.

The ZF won me over with the FM2 Inspired design. I still shoot film (Olympus OM10) and used to shoot Fuji and genuinely enjoy the tactile feedback of physical dials.
