Thanks for all the great input on this project! Just wrapped up today I ended up using six coats of spar urethane cut and polished with automotive compound. My customer is thrilled and already wants another.

I admit that I vastly underestimated the skill and patience involved in woodburning. This project has been so many hours I’ve lost count. I went into it very nervous to start because this was a commission for a co worker and again I’ve never tried woodburning until this. Is $300 too high to charge? It’s not completely finished or clear coated fyi.
I’m very new to investing in silver, so far I’ve got tons of old silver coins but I’ve only bought about five oz of .999 bullion I got a couple smaller pieces like a 1 gram bar and a 1/4 oz round and decided I’d rather not pay such premiums for incremental silver. My question is if it’s better to continue buying one ounce rounds or if I should pick up some 2-5 ounce rounds or bars. My goal is to have silver that’s easy to sell and I’ve heard mixed opinions on buying things other than well known rounds like eagles and maples. Thanks for any advice, everything helps!
Not sure if it’s worth the cost to have this one in plastic or not but from what I understand this is a more sought after date. I’m just curious what it might be graded as and if it would impact value.
