I've taken many inperson classes at my college and finally took an online class for A&P1 for Summer, but the difference between an inperson and online asynchronous class are so far apart I'm not even sure how this online class can pass the same amount of credits at the inperson. I mean it is so easy to cheat I'm certain majority of my class is cheating and definitely not learning.
Nothing is proctored. Quizes, test, nothing, in fact the ENTRIE exam is able to be copied and pasted into AI. The lectures were recorded years ago, since I guess there is no point in re-recording them. I feel like you can pass this whole class without learning anything. I still watch all the lectures and read the textbook, but I'm certain most don't. I work full time and am so tired but still do my best to learn because one day this information will be important but I feel that cheating should not be up to will power alone and certain steps should be made to prevent it, but that it is this easy to cheat and not learn anything, and the professor hasn't "taught" a class in years, it seems cheating bends slightly toward being encouraged. I'm losing a lot of drive for this class.
General AI has been around for 3 years now and it seems this college has still yet to adapt, I mean it seems their not even trying. It's a public, non-profit school but it seems that they probably are just trying to have a high retention and pass rate.
Do you guys experience anything similar?
