What's going on this week...?

Hello! Just joined - what's going on with Google home? I've got loads of lights that I turn on with commands and automations.

A few different makes of sockets etc.

It's been getting unreliable over the last few months - dropping sockets etc - but today they are now ALL offline.

Any ideas on how to fix? Do I need to delete and reinstall?

Thanks 👍

UPDATE - So all the nest smoke detectors offline also ( internet fine btw )

Advice on screen damage please - UK

So, to cut a long story short ...bought my son a Lenovo LOQ laptop around February.... several months after we noticed screen damage in long broken lines.

On further investigation these map exactly to keyboard buttons, so I'm assuming that there's some type of friction between the keyboard and the screen and carrying it to and from school has caused permanent damage of the screen.

It's been very difficult to get hold of Lenovo support in the UK - but today finally on the call they instantly said it would be classed as customer induced damage and they would only fix it for a fee (excluded from warranty)

This doesn't feel right so I disputed it on the call - I've had many laptops and carried them too and from work with no damage (never Lenovo brand TBF) - likewise son took a. Chromebook to school for five years with no screen damage.

The tech support aget couldn't help further and said there's no contact information for customer service, other than published WhatsApp and chatbot 😥

Any ideas anyone what I can do? Chargeback on credit card? 🤷

Huge thanks!
