What is your ONE all time favorite detective thriller?
No Agatha Christie - Already read four of her books
No Tana French - Not fan of her writing
I am in a mixed feeling about "A drink before the war". It was an absolute perfect detective setup but I expected a different story. Something like>!True detective and not racial gang wars!<
Your ONE absolute all-time favorite fast-paced thriller? I will pick my top 10 based on the most upvoted comments
Since each comment will have only one book, I will respond with a personal review and rating after I am done reading.
These were some of my favorites:
- The Kind Worth Killing — by Peter Swanson
- What Lies Between Us — by John Marrs
- None of This Is True — by Lisa Jewell
- Sharp Objects — by Gillian Flynn
- The Collector — by John Fowles
Please recommend me the next two books from Peter Swanson, John Marrs, Lisa Jewell?
I've read only one novel from each of these authors and loved it. No other books have stood out to me as much as their work.
- The kind worth killing
- What lies between us
- None of this is true
I am looking for two books from each author.
My tier list of thriller books I’ve read so far, what do y'all think?
Please let me know in the comments if you're curious why I ranked that book in that specific tier. I'd be more than happy to elaborate my views and share my opinion.
