State of play is still going on, but oh my god I haven't been this excited for a game since Elden Ring. Mind is blown.
Unfortunately no demo announced. I'm still holding out hope that there will be one - I personally think it would help ensure a smoother launch, but either way, I preordered!

Will we ever get to use 92s or nah? I think it's genuinely hilarious I spent a good amount of coins on 92s at like 1500 coin/per over the 3 weeks in anticipation of 98s or 99s and we get 97s with the ability to upgrade them to 99 😭
So they're still useless right?
I actually can't believe I pulled my first 99 out of a 89+ pack haha. Used up all my luck for the rest of the game cycle.

The game feels so much better when everyone isn't running around with the best cards. The AI acts a bit more goofy and doesn't do as much on it's own when the overall's are lower — but to me it seems more fun when we're all facing each other with like 86 overall teams.
I do have to tip my hat to the content team in the sense that a good chunk of us are still card chasing in July, though.

Question 1: Do you guys think I should trade in my Icons players for a 99 icon to then trade into a 99x set? I probably have enough fodder left over to remake either Gretzky or Gordie.
Question 2: Anyone out there have multiple 99x forwards? Which one would you recommend out of MacKinnon, Super Mario or McDavid based on how they play for you?
Any feedback is really appreciated. I know these posts are annoying but it's a bit of an investment so I'd just like to hear from people that have used these cards.
I can't remember the wind being that powerful before. The only thing that was worse (as far as I can remember) was the tornado off Rhodes drive 8ish(?) years ago.
Hopefully just a few broken branches, rolled over lawn furniture and some temporary power outages. I'm currently in South Windsor, the power was down from about 6:45 to 7:00 pm and it's been on since. My neighbours across the street weren't so lucky for some reason and are still without power. Hearing sirens everywhere now too.

Got the two 99s loaded up, just need 4 more collectables tonight and I'll pull the trigger. I had a few days off this week so I got most of the objectives done. Probably won't make another one though, not a fan of playing 16 damn cup chase games in a row lol.
I believe he did this just after the Olympics I think? I thought it was pretty funny with everything that's going on lol.
