During a mission, the enemy AI shoots at me from places I can't even see, and my team's AI just stands there even when I tell them to provide cover. What should I do?

Hello. I have an Acer Nitro 5 with an Intel Core i7-8750H. In Windows Task Manager, the base speed is around 2.2 GHz. I know the CPU supports Intel Turbo Boost, but it usually stays around the base clock. How can I make it boost to higher frequencies? Are there any BIOS or Windows settings I should check?
