Scar tape ??

Ive been using scar tape mostly for 3 months and I notice everytime i pull it off my scar is very pink . When I leave it off a couple days and use gel it's not as pink and purple. I know the tape is best to use but I really hate the darkening of the scar . My scar is flat now so im not sure I should keep using tape for color change. Is the tape suppose to help lighten them ?

Pooch just moved down or not enough skin removed(any surgeons to answer ?)

So ive posted a bit on how ive had a low belly pooch my entire 4 months post op. It really doesn't change much , although the right side is a lil bigger . I have a vertical scar because I didn't have enough skin to pull down to get rid of my old belly button .I did have a pooch before surgery. Im now thinking since not much skin was cut off that all It did was move pooch I had down a little lower and this is permanent! Im really upset that all I did was get rid of a lil loose skin but keep the pooch . Ive heard a lot of people complain about lower belly pooch and it remaining. Most people have enough skin and fat removed because so much can be pulled away from lower belly. I didn't. What do you all think ? I attached 2 pics of preop . I look flat from the front but look at side in dress and tan undies.

Lower belly pooch

Next week I'll be 4 months post op. I had a full tt and mr at 120 lbs 5'6 with a Lil loose skin at 55. I did not have any weight loss b4 tt. While I'm fairly happy standing and sitting, when I turn to the side, look down , or wear form fitting clothes ...I have a fairly hard lower pooch. The thing is that it's been this way since week 2, without much change. Some days it's a Lil smaller. I'll see my doctor July 1. I did not have this lower pooch b4 surgery. When my doctor saw it at 6 weeks he said its muscle with air behind it . He used his machine and said there's no fluid or fat . I'm massaging , using vibration plate , and compression. What do you all think 🤔?
