Mami appreciation post

Here she is Kazuya's ex girlfriend. A very divisive character. Some love her while others hate her. You wouldn't be wrong in calling her the main antagonist early on. She's the direct reason why Kazuya ending up meeting Chizuru. Though Kazuya and her relationship was short lived she still affects how he carries himself to this day. While Kazuya was pining after Chizuru, Mami would do her best to break them up. It was later revealed that her family was the biggest cause of her acting the way she did. After being called out by Chizuru for acting so weird about Kazuya she seemed to become less aggressive in their relationship. She later meets up with Kazuya again during driving school and seems to want to show off in front of him. Again it's revealed she's acts the way she does since she always wants something she can't have. Is she jealous of Chizuru? Does she still harbor feelings for Kazuya? Does she regret breaking up with him? Would you have preferred Kazuya and Mami to have stayed a couple? Let me know what you think.

Sumi appreciation post

Here she is! A fan favorite for sure! The extremely shy and timid Sumi! How else can you describe her except she's the sweetest, kindest, most unselfish person ever. Unfortunately for her she develops feelings for Kazuya who only has eyes for Chizuru. She even makes sure to gift Kazuya for every birthday he has. Her feelings for Kazuya come after Kazuya saved her from some delinquents and seeing how hard Kazuya was working for Chizuru after she lost her grandmother. Sumi was at first way too shy to even speak her mind but lately she has way more to say. You could say she full out confesses to Kazuya at the end. What do you think? Is she your favorite girl? Would you like Kazuya to end up with her instead of Chizuru?

Mini appreciation post

Just wanted to highlight what I feel is a fantastic character in the manga and anime. She's always giving Kazuya advice even if it's sometimes bad. She's the bridge between Kazuya and Chizuru when they can't be honest about their feelings with each other. Overall a great character. How do you feel about her?

Just caught up on the manga and had a couple of questions.

Do you think Chizuru would ever use this and what do you think she'd use it on? Also do you think Chizuru will find out how far Ruka and Kazuya went and how would she react? I personally think she will find out and honestly be jealous

All the hate this anime and manga get

First off I apologize if this topic has been done to death but I'm a brand new fan of this series. I only started watching this anime 2 weeks ago and have caught up with the new season and everytime I see comments or discussions about it it's only mockery or hate. Even on the r/anime subreddit people seem to honestly be hate watching it. The other day I saw a tweet about barnes and noble shutting down and the poster made sure to point out that rent a girlfriend manga was fully stocked. I just don't understand since this show is really well animated, has great voice acting (Sora Amamiya?! Rie Takahashi?! Aoi Yūki?!) has moments that make you tear up and make you laugh (I crack up everytime Ruka is on the screen for how ridiculous she is) My point being I feel like this series should be beloved and not the target of endless mockery. Btw does anyone know how many chapters season 5 will cover? I really want to read the manga after
