This month event bores me to no end

This month event has many problems.

Firstly, its gimmick is getting old fast at best and actively miserable to play at worst. It's just not a good meta for the event to be in. Coooool, a second life air support in random zones across the map, that also gives you temporary new aggro attack and surefire new ult at the end of the transformation duration, surely this kind of gimmick won't heavily favor the side with more mobility, aggro, health and/or zone control becaus yk, they can just play around the airdrop, get their life low, eat the airdrop before the other team and just absolutely flip them over? Furthermore, surely this is not the meta with either omega aggro or omega anti aggro with Collete, Edgar, Bibi, Mortis, Bull, Crow, Chester, Griff rig....oh wait it is that meta. It's so boring, random and lobsided. I can play like an absolute demon with Byron but what's the point, a Bibi can just walk all over the map, heal herself once with gadget then heal herself twice with airdrop and teamwipe. Everyone saying that the main attack of the transformation sucks, but i can assure you having to push back a second wave of aggro is annoying nonetheless of how bad the main attack is, moreover, the transformation ult is not bad, which surely everyone having the transformation will have the ult. Of course, i can also win games out of nowhere with a random pick, but what's the point, i don't feel earned. I either get trumped by ultra aggro getting more aggro or i get a drop and they lose. It's boring. Not to mention, Starr Nova picks is just overtuned, wdym random infinite attack and dash and huge reach should be a thing? Everytime i open the phone, i saw out of 4 maps i could play 2 of them already have the Starr Nova modifier, i sighed and just play whatever inferior is available. I hate random chances turbo gameplay for a month

Secondly, okay fine, the gameplay sucks, at least the rewards are worth it right? Hell no, the silver drops, half of the time, it is just a power level upgrade towards the Starr Nova roster of this month, which, if you manage to upgrade enough and defeat the Finx boss, it will give you...........a skin? What? That's it? You are saying that these silver drops that takes up half of this moth event rewards, nearly half of them will just be random progression towards earning a mid skin? Really? What does this skin do, poops gold? The skin takes up a lot of grinding, i haven't earned the skin yet but close to it, because i have a life and i touch grass regularly, if there is no surprise rewards toward earning the skin, this month even will genuinel sucks all around.

What is the bad pick here?

The map is Hideout.

Ace Xero seems adamant with cheese strat on Bounty, however after Boss takes away Jae-Yong first pick they relied on Glowy instead.

I think that the share of bad picks lies between Glowy and Frank, with Frank carrying the heavier fault here. I understand the idea for Ace Xero comps is giving Frank a lot of damage and heal it out to charge both Glowy and Frank.

However, the other comp consist of all 3 ranged brawler with stun, knockback, heal and shield and "shield". The more Frank pick open the map the more Frank get countered hard as Gene and Glowbert can't really outheal the damage done by 3 ranged brawlers, and no walls means HMBLE get damage in way more consistent, Frank will just be a slow meatshield getting hit in the face constantly without actual pressure. Not to mention, they leaned too hard the healing side of Glowy, as i watched that match i think they picked the inferior double rate gadget.

Glowy, at this moment, works best as a dynamic duo with one other brawler, gaining ground with main attack, dash gadget, mass stun and constant healing and circling up and down and between 2 brawler, providing care and constant protection in the form of heal and meat shielding. He has never been that good with healing if we are being honest, his niche is the kind of brawler that get in other people's face and be annoying while giving heal. forcing him as a backline is not it, if heal amount is in consideration, other brawlers should have been better. If we are adamant on Glowy, Frank pick should have been something else that actually have kill potential so it can form a duo with Glowy to run down one side of the map and slowly gain position. Glowy is bad as a pick in this wall map if we only need heal to form a choo choo train down the map, Frank didnt break map fast enough for Glowy and Gene to shine, Byron should have been better heal as he can heal himself , has actual kill potential, heal Frank in higher quantity than Glowy and he can actually provide pressure fire down the map for Frank to move up.

If Glowy stun is what we want in this heal comp Frank should have been another brawler with better movement speed, range, and all, that benefit from constant care and walling. I don't think Ace Xero actually thought this draft through.

Of course, this is just my 2 cents as i am a Glowy for life. I still want to hear what yall think.

His design is just pure and simple, everything he does aside from his ult is just damage damage damage. Zone control is just "If you step in here you get damage". Star power is just "You get 30% more damage". And the ult is just "Shut up so i can get damage in first". No more extra effect or movement ability. Therefore all i have to do is play good neutral lmao. I think he is one of the most (if not the most) rewarding brawler to use if you have good neutral game (as in, good aiming, positioning, maneuvering, when to attack, when to retreat). You can say "hurr durr all brawler are good if you have good neutral", however there are some brawler that can only gain value by you having unreasonably high neutral game (case in point, maisie, 8-bit, piper, melodie), or there are brawler that plays itself so hard that it nearly aleviate you all from some or all aspect of neutral responsibility (case in point damian, edgar). What i mean is that while Otis still requires good neutral (because that's all he has lmao), the returning curve is much higher compare to other brawler that requires good neutral and flexible (like Colt). I can see why pros ban it all the time, if you are good at neutral you can force Otis into nearly everything.

Collete is not fixed so any map with a portal you will meet a Collete every 1.5 games. I play Otis trying to grind to prestige 3 (S tier brawler btw), and that perverted emo ate 3 of my fucking supercharge and a bunch of main attack straight to the face and still go on to live. Any map with a wall and you don't play wallbreaker you meet a Sirius, if the map is grassy or if it is Arena you meet Damian, which btw the nerf did nothing, he can just do nothing, getting shot all match and still get super because guess what, TANK TRAIT. He pop supercharge, no one can see shit on the screen, he kill everyone or finish what's left with the second supercharge and GG objective. It's deterministic af. Solo Showdown is fested with Edgar, so it's even more bushcamping than Vietnam

They should sort things out soon or else no one wanna play ladder or arena at all.
