Highlighter trick failing after ink change
Hi guys, i’m feeling like i’m at a loss. After a very, VERY long time of trying different tricks to get my cricut to work with me when I make stickers— I thought I had found something that worked.
I tried cleaning my machine, I tried the tape trick, I tried redrawing the lines, etc.
Not even two days ago, I found out using highlighter over your registration marks would make the machine read and cut them perfectly when you’re using GLOSSY sticker paper. I’ve never felt such relief!! I had been FIGHTINGGG to get something to work. (The tape wasn’t working for me.)
I printed atleast 6 or more sheets of stickers that came out beautiful. And then I changed my ink because it was low and printing poorly. Now that I have brand new ink, (i sent the machine through every cleaning maintenance and all that) when I put highlighter over the marks, it smears them off! I don’t understand what i’m doing wrong. I waited maybe 25 minutes and they were still smearing.
Any insight?? I never had to wait for the ink to dry or anything before, so I don’t know what to do. Please let me know if you’ve had this issue before!!
