Our town’s transfer station has a swap shop where everything’s free. It’s mostly junk, but I spotted this. Using google lens, it looks similar to other Bassett dressers but I hadn’t been able to find a name for the style.
We just purchased our home and this tree is around the corner. Is possible this is a surviving American Chestnut?
