I Made an Art Deco Booth for My Speakeasy

Every corner of my speakeasy was a painstaking process. WoW currently has almost no seating decor that can pass as art deco, so I had to make my own.

For this little nook, I tried my best to recreate the types of padded leather booths common in art deco restaurants. The key ended up being Silvermoon Beams as cushions. When blown up to 170-200%, they have rounded edges that I angled and clipped into the walls.

This booth is something I hope to move to a separate room to share as a blueprint. It could make a darling breakfast nook in someone’s home 😁

Blueprint: Inconspicuous Speakeasy Exterior (Alli)

Here's the blueprint for Normal Store, my speakeasy's exterior! This is for a small alliance house, and the plot faces east. Most of the items are easily obtainable from the neighborhood vendors, with the exception of the sidewalk, door handle, and some embellishment above the windows. Those can be swapped out for other options. This blueprint is the exterior only and does not include the interior, Deco Bar.

BLUEPRINT CODE: AgRclnQf4pZP3o1LvOUJ85V3

This build is inspired by 100+ year old buildings common in cities like Chicago and New York, with quaint store displays below and living spaces above. It's been fun to try to recreate that in WoW. Hoping we get a good option for brick soon!

My 1920s Speakeasy: Deco Bar

This build has been such a labor of love, and I’ve channeled as much Art Deco as possible for this speakeasy. It’s been a unique challenge, since Art Deco relies on precise geometric patterns, and current WoW decor lacks those straight edges. So, I used the sides and bottoms of Silvermoon walls for the flat gold edges and layered them throughout the build. I also deployed over 500 naturally elegant doormats (ow, my wallet!) to achieve the delicate wainscoting and other wall patterns.

The bar fits within an evening circle room and has eaten up the majority of my lvl 9 house budget. I don’t think I can ever delete this one, and I still have so much more I want to add.

MASSIVE thanks to my friends in the Hearthside Girls for their support and feedback throughout the build process, especially Saltycandy, Deosporin, and Moriibuilds. Also want to thank my HOA guildie Melisent for her help with the lemon wedges!

Also: I'll be having the Grand Opening event next Saturday August 8 for those who want to swing by and visit (NA)! Will post updated info for that on my Insta, or you can search for it in LFG sometime that evening.

Made a Massive Chandelier to Feel Fancy

Made a ballroom in around my vision for a grand chandelier design built into a decorative tray ceiling. Inspired by crystal chandeliers seen in many classic ballrooms, this chandelier uses a ton of elegant table lamps, as well as some artist easels, circular elven tables, and elegant curved tables.
