I’m wanting to recreate the mail wall from inside the Incontinental Hotel in Undermine. Any ideas for what I could use for the cross-crossing metal slats?
I’ve tested a few options but so far nothing seems to be really a winner.

I know so many of you are incredible and could probably run circles around what I've done, but I made a full vineyard and winery on my [secondary] plot that I wanted to share. The first floor is dedicated to the wine shop/tasting room, wine cellar, pressing room, and a wine-themed common area. (The second floor contains just regular suites, so I left those photos out. This post is just for the winery.)

Made a Spider for one of my outdoor rooms. Surprisingly simple to put together. Tried out a few different ways to make it, but this one looked more like one of those friendly jumping spiders you see on social media.

A place to pretend it is a mild autumn day and not the actual blazing hot 100 degree summer that it actually is outside :D
Since a few days whenever I use a chair or bench on my own plot a random alliance house pops up for a few seconds clipping with my own house and disappears again.
When I sit on a public bench in the neighborhood space random houses spawn for an instant on ALL plots. This happens both on the Alliance and Horde neighborhoods and started a few days back.
This is very immersive breaking and it appears to be a new bug introduced just a few days back. I posted about it on the EU forum but today I saw it also mentioned on the US forum.
I'm very much looking forward to 12.1 but there are still people with missing day and night rooms, moving objects and the Stormwinds mages Housing portal still brings me to the Horde area while showing an Alliance loading screen. Now there's a new bug introduced.
I hope that some of the team's enthusiasm not only goes to new Housing features and decor but also into fixing the issues that are still there and it's worrying to me that we just got a new bug. Please fix those first.
ran out of decor budget for my main house, so I started building a second cathedral for my horde house. A Paladin main can never have too many churches.

Some results from PTR 12.1 on Dyes.
The 12.1 PTR updates and reworks housing dyes: the 77 dye colours are grouped into 9 family dye items (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown, Black, White). You buy or craft the family dye, and one dye applies any shade in that family — each application consumes 1 dye. 15 new shades in 12.1
Crafting is direct at the new Dye Crafting station:
10 of any one accepted herb = 1 family dye. Pigment step is removed (as far as I can tell - actual crafting isn't yet working).
Any quality tier of a tiered herb works, and each family accepts one herb from almost every expansion (Classic through Midnight).

I've found a lot of value in stripping down my bigger rooms which feel empty and condensing them down and so i'm doing it with my fortune telling room. I spent about two hours this evening throwing this together, but I feel like i've now overused the planet motiff.
Just wondering if anyone has done a Nighthold style star room who could over some very welcome tips? Thank you in advance!

I like to headcanon that my priest and her wife, Hogmi, reside here! Once we get additional house levels, I hope to expand upon the Gnome portal area and add more smaller details!
My wife irl is making an airship that docks at my house, but she already maxed out her exterior decor limit too, lol

Hello housing enthusiasts!
I want to build a popcorn machine for outside my cinema room. The machine itself is not a problem but I have been scratching my head trying to figure out what to use to make popcorn. I have tried a few things, including bunching up the "dried whitewash corn" as well as "cuddly pearl grrgle" but nothing seems to work. Not looking for a toy that will disappear after a few minutes (like the Faire popcorn container). And I don't think using the cushions dyed white is an option as it would be extremely tedious. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
After many hours of cheese farming, I wanted to show-off my house dedicated to the glory of cheese! With a lounge created completely out of wheels of cheese, to the cheese room, cheese couches and other furniture, to the holy cheeses and my most recent addition...the cheese cows!
I hope you all enjoy and I look forward to there being more cheese furniture in the future.
