Tips from performers for a woman hoping to have her first lap dance experience?

I (30F) am visiting Las Vegas soon, and while I've been to strip clubs before, I have never done more than simply watch from the crowd and tip. I am hoping to spend decent time at some clubs while visiting, but in the past my friends have always chickened out and wanted to leave within 30 minutes of arriving. I've tried finding help online, but most strip club etiquette is tailored towards men receiving attention from women.
I guess my main question is, what should I expect as a woman seeking a dance from a female dancer? I of course know things like keeping my hands to myself and of course being polite, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I'm beyond scared that maybe the women won't approach me in fear that I won't tip as well as a man, or I'm a deviant, etc. (I am also horrified that I'll get snubbed and end up leaving in shame..). Perhaps I'm over thinking this, and considering it's Vegas I'm sure the performers will know how to handle an embarrassed, first-time bisexual, but I'd sure love some advice before I try.
