AIO to this creepy guy that came into my job?
So this guy comes into my job (I work retail in a major big city in TX) and before he walks in I get bad vibes. He walks passed the store and he stops right in his tracks, he doubles back at the same time and walks backwards and gets right up on the front doors and looks in here and stands there for a long 5 seconds. Immediately in my head I’m already thinking “what a creep” I approach him and welcome him in as I would with any other potential customer. He begins asking me to give him $6 for a bracelet from the Catholic Church Nextdoor.I’m 26 and I’m barely making it. I only have enough for the bus. I couldn’t help him but he kept on asking, I tried sympathizing with him as well when he was like “please my mom just died” etc. He was very animated with his emotions. I simply told him I wasn’t able to help him for the 12th time (literally) and he exited noticeably upset. I locked the door behind him and contacted my manager. She advised me to call the non emergency number. At that time I was in the back of the store and I peeked out to the front and he came back to the door and tried to come in a couple times just looking in through the window. I called 311 and told them everything and the extremely helpful, compassionate woman on the phone advised me if I felt unsafe contact 911. I contacted 911 and they brought a cop out to patrol for a tiny bit. AIO?????? I’m a female here at the store by myself. I have befriended crackheads and homeless people and just humans from all walks of life but this particular guy made me feel sooo uncomfortable and unsafe!!!
