First round of elderflower champagne looks pretty cloudy. Just bottled yesterday. Tried to make sure yeast sediment wasn’t transferred. Let it sit in brew kit for 6 days before transfer. Was still slightly fizzing when transferred.

Just burped this one today and it did fizz.

Been a few years since I tried it. Thoughts?

Just had the flashing changed on the roof. There was a failure at the right side which causes water to seep into loft and ceiling below.

The flashing was replaced with a larger lead flashing as well as more underlay to direct any water down. (The underlay looked like it was a little short at the gutter as well as signs of pooling off the side of old flashing.

Concern is the large looking void you can see that has the flashing bent up underneath the meet the tile. It looks like you could drive a truck through it on the side, but I was assured the flashing meets it and that any side wind, rain shouldn’t be able to get through.
