QC is the best piece of gear I own

I have to say, for a bedroom guitarist, the QC is the best piece of gear I ever bought. Recording has become so much easier. The flexibility is so convenient. In this cover I use the Nameless plugin in the QC that I boosted with my capture of the Evil Ned by Abominable Pedals. Bass tone is the Parallax. Hope you like!

As I started taking bass lessons I needed something to jam at home. That cute Ampeg 210 SVT seemed perfect to do the job. I use the Quad Cortex into a Powerstage 700. My guitar patch goes to the left input in mono to my 412, bass patch to the right input in mono, to the SVT, so that I don’t need to re-plug everything when I change instrument. I’m thinking messing up with the Ampeg SVT simulation and the Parallax plugin for the tonezzz.

Cat for scale.

I’ve been using my gravel bike regularly for a bit more than a year now (except winter) mostly for short-medium trip around my city.

Today I check the brakes as they were not as tight as they used to be. It was not sudden, been noticing for a few rides prior to today. When I losen the screw to tighten the cable it just came in my hand. It was impossible to screw it back: all the grooves were flat.

That seems a bit surprising to me that after around 1300km of mostly normal roads this part of the brake got so much wear and tear. I have no knowledge of such components, so any advice is welcome!

Bike: NS Bikes Rag+ 2
Brakes: Riderever (don’t know the model)
