I was diagnosed with LS in June and I’m coming close to the end of my 12 week treatment which was clob once at night before bed I still have very frequent flares no more pain but still very itchy. I have had maybe a couple days of no itch or pain and not back to back. With that being said how am I supposed to know if I’m in remission because I’ve heard it can be “controlled” and that is considered remission. What do you think the derm is going to say or do when I go back for my appointment in mid September?

Hi I was wondering if I should apply coob directly to clit when I asked my derm she said no… but I pulled my hood back and noticed discoloration I’m unsure if it’s ls or vitiligo since I do have both but I don’t remember it ever being even a little discolored… also I do get yeasts often and I have a vaginal anti fungal cream (clotrimazol) was wondering if or how I should use that because I’m terrified of getting a yeast while using my clob

So I’ve been using clob for about a week and a few days and symptoms seem to have settled ALOT today was the first day I’ve had hardly any itching at all small light little flares here and there that lasted a few seconds. Later in the night I noticed my left lip was puffy and significantly bigger than my right lip. It’s not uncomfortable doesn’t hurt or itch or anything it’s just swollen. Also too I had a biopsy done last week too. Has anyone else had those issue?? I’m really concerned

I’ve been dealing with on and off burning, irritation, and itching for the last 9 months now and to say it’s been hell is an understatement. I’m a pole dancer and also used to be a 24/7 gym girl. Since the irritation started I suspected a yeast because it aligned with all symptoms I had with yeast took medication some side effects calmed down but irritation and burning was still very bad. It took away my quality of life. Went to gyno after gyno got cream after cream. Recently went to a derm and she said it was hard to tell if it’s lichen or not since I have vitiligo so I already have white patches. The burning subsided I just mainly get some irritated spots and MAJOR itching I got a biopsy done and she put me on clob. Still waiting for results I feel the itching has calmed down significantly but I still flare up I’m a week into treatment. What was your healing like before hitting remission did it tread down lightly or did you still have really hard days and flare up?? No one gave me any information just here’s this ointment use it for 12 weeks every night on irritated spots.
