54 M Turning 50 something clicked in my head.

I woke up one day after turning 50 and I just stopped caring about the small, insignificant stuff that used to stress me out. Is anyone else finding that the older you get the less you worry about things. I’m just curious if more people are getting more or less stressed as we get older. DMs open if you’d like.

I’m a firefighter in a major city. AMA.

I’ve been a career FF for 28 years and plan to retire once I reach 30. I’ve been involved in calls where we’ve lost firemen, responded to a terrorist attack and seen a lot of ugliness. I’ve had my fill and am looking forward to a peaceful and quiet life.
