I’ve been using MelonDS for a long time with absolutely no issues. Suddenly every game I open stutters to the point of being unplayable. I have a 2070 and an i7-9700K CPU, and Melon never had issues before. I can’t even thing of what changed, I can still run games like Marvel Rivals and Elden Ring on my computer just fine, what’s going on?

I tried updating to a nightly build with no luck, and desmume also had some stuttering. I’ve tried disabling audio sync and frame limit. This became a problem so suddenly, what can I do to trouble shoot?

I’ve asked for help a few times before and people have been very helpful, but I’m still really struggling.

I used a red demon build to get me far enough to unlock Way of the Wise, but it has really fallen off. I’m about level 300, and what I really want is to complete the whole game including DLCs on Way of the Demon. I’ve done most of it but I know I’m nowhere near ready to handle the DLCs.

Ive been trying to find a build for days that can handle it to no avail. I tried a kunai build but none of the farming methods for thrown damage inheritables seem to be viable anymore. I tried a dragon ninja build and a tank build but I could never figure out how to get better special effects and inheritables. I don’t have a lot of materials for tempering and I go through hundreds of divine fragments without getting even a fraction of the stuff I need.

I feel so lost. Nothing seems to be working and I don’t even want to go up to Way of the Wise or Way of the Nioh, I’ll truly be content if I can just beat everything on Way of the Demon but there’s just too much. I can’t figure out how to get the perfect special effects, I can’t figure out the abyss because it just seems like such a huge hurdle to add onto everything, and I can’t figure out where to go from here to make the game fun again.

If anyone could point me to in depth but accessible guides for this stuff or even just help me in depth here I’d really appreciate it, because honestly I’ve never been more lost in a game. The videos online just seem so limited in how they explain using the blacksmith and all the builds seem so far outside the realm of what I could realistically grind. Is there a build I could really put together in 5-10 hours?

Hey all, I just hit level 300 and I have access to Way of the Wise. My goal is I want to beat the DLC on Way of the Demon but I’m just getting destroyed with my Red Demon spear build and I need a change.

Problem is I just can’t find up to date info on what builds are viable at this point. Either that or the builds just require more RNG than I can handle. I tried to go for a storm kunai build but I grinded for two hours and didn’t get a single 2x thrown weapon damage, negating pretty much the entire build. I tried a dual sword tank build but after using 300 divine fragments I still couldn’t get the effects I needed.

I’m feeling desperate to find a viable build that can get me through WotD DLC and hopefully through WotW at least a bit. I want a build I can put together in a day or two if possible, and I’m really willing to change everything up and start from scratch. I just need a goal and I’ve been super frustrated from feeling so aimless with my build.

Any help would mean a lot.

I just finished Way of the Samurai for the first time and I am getting my feet wet in Way of the Strong. I want to start paying attention to build crafting, and if I could work toward a Ninjutsu Kusarigama Kunai build that would be ideal.

I’m really struggling with how to even get started because when I look things up I find that people make a lot of guides for Way of the Demon and very, very little that applies to Way of the Strong. I’m getting exhausted just trying to find out where to even start and I would appreciate any help.
