so basically, one side of my bite isn’t perfect, it has an overjet and i’ve been on those diagonal elastics for about 3 months now with no changes and my ortho apparently has used the shorted elastics but they’re of no use so, they’ve told me to double up on the elastics in my teeth, i’ve heard some bad things about it, is it okay ?
hey guys, so this is the last stage of my braces (elastics) and last month i was given an elastic pattern to shift my midline, now the ortho gave it from my right upper teeth to left lower, however i feel like my upper teeth should move towards my right side cause they seem to really shift towards the left side of my face, the 1st pic is what the ortho gave me and the second is what i think it should be and the 3rd pic is how my smile looks rn. please help me understand how this works since i have an appointment today !!!!
in my final steps of braces and my front teeth are still imo not aligned, i asked her about this and she told me my teeth are aligned horizontally and she’ll fix my front teeth after debonding, and im really confused as to how, she says that my teeth are of different thickness but i can clearly see that my right tooth’s a bit backwards (there’s shadow there but not on the left tooth) so can someone tell me if im just overthinking ?? ive talked to her about this every appointment and she seems to get irritated and answers me w the same thing ! (last pic was a month w braces in)

so my ortho says we’re in the final process of braces and guys my teeth don’t look centred at all, they were centered before but now they aren’t. i’m suspicious this happened because i had a temporary ortho do my teeth in between treatment and to fix my overlap in the front two teeth they did double strip ipr and i think they did it unevenly so now after that my teeth have shifted more to one side, whenever i raise my concerns to my ortho they literally get irritated and start becoming passive aggressive, i lowkey want to cry because this isn’t what i wanted.
TLDR; i suspect my temporary ortho did an uneven ipr and my teeth have shifted 😭
(pls ignore the food, i just ate 😭) haven’t worn my elastics yet but is my midline too off ?? or is normal ? can some help me ?

last month i had my appointment and my ortho literally did ipr on my four front teeth to fix my two uneven front teeth, and i also started rubber bands, guys after the appointment my whole mouth area was looking so weird, im really stressed if she did the ipr unevenly and now its making my face asymmetrical cause even some one else pointed this out 😭😭 i can’t stop thinking about my teeth someone please help
(1st pic aug 2025, 2nd pic april 2026) so when i first got my braces one of my main concerns were my two front teeth and throughout my treatment, ive noticed that they’ve been a little uneven. i’ve confronted to my ortho about this and she has done ipr two times and made my wire stronger but im still not satisfied with them, i feel like from the front, it still looks uneven, should i tell them to do something about this again ?
(pls ignore my crusty lips i took this pic right after my appointment) so last week i went to my appointment and my ortho did ipr on my front four teeth because my front two teeth aren’t aligned and ive been complaining about them since liek 4 months and all they do is ipr and powerchain but the teeth never straighten ! and this time around my smile is looking so crooked, at first i thought its just me but then someone else told me that my smile looks crooked and i swear it wasn’t like that before this recent appointment (i started elastics for my overjet this appointment too) what do i do ? what do i tell my ortho ? i paid so much money for this man😭😭 ugh im pissed
