Has anyone had to go back in after haveing a thyroid surgery to have scar tissue removed and if so how many times and has anyone's dr. Told them its a very good probability that after haveing ur thyroid removed its possible u might have to have other surgery to remove scar tissue as it grows back?

Has anyone became diabetic after getting there thyroid removed ?

Going in in a few weeks and would like to hear ur experience with glue or stitches. And ur experience.

What are some things u wish u knew before and after surgery mine is comeing up soon and im hopeing some of u can tell me some things u wish u new before hand to help prepare me. Im a complete wreck along with all the awful symtoms im haveing. 2nd question My surgeon said he dont think he need to take out the nodules in the soft tissue of my neck but I think there also wgats causing me trouble along with the 2.1 cm one I have on my thyroid has this happened to u

And the surgeon said that not to worry about the nodules in soft tissue of the neck there probley just limp nodes ? Im so confused I have a 2.1 cm mass on thyroid and I thought I had thyroid toxicity but after seeing surgeon for 1st time he said he would remove thyroid and biopsy the mass on thyroid after surgery but was leaveing the 4 nodules so confused has anyone experience this?

Im so scared. I have a high risk thyroidectomy comeing up and have severe toxic nodules. Can someone please share with me ur experience and what to expect good and bad. Im in oklahoma and will be going to st john tulsa and would be interested in ur experience there with surgeon and general.

Im haveing a heck of a time im in oklahoma and finding a endocrinologist has been difficult and I have 2.1 cm mass and toxic nodules so whe the adrenaline rushes start palpations axeity panic attacks I've not had any help my p.c tells me to go to e.r the e.r tells me to get endocrinologist but my dr has tryed and the wait is months and thats if they take my insurance so I've had to stop my synthroid for a week and take 1/2 my dose for a week to get it to stop . Now I have a metoprolol perscription and a propranolol script given to me by 2 dr.s that only seen me once so im scared to take them so if anyone has been threw this please reach out and tell me ur experience so I know im not alone in this and any experience u have with these medications. Im going to see a ear nose and throat surgeon next week to see about getting it out. So any experience u have with that kind of surgeon would be helpful. And Any experience uve had with surgery and after im freaking out and have no idea what to expect thank u in advance.

Im going to see surgeon tomorrow and im scared to death. Ive had thyroid toxicity for 4 years and been bounced from dr to dr most with no answer and no help . Its effecting b.p pulse rate no sleep adrenaline rushes. Palpitations this has been hell. Im wondering if anyone who has had same and went threw surgery how did the toxicity effect u during and after surgery ? Did b.p go crazy ? Did u have any complications getting stable ? What medications u were on right after and did all this stop after surgery. Im freaking out and cant seem to get any answers. Please help thank u
