Hi from New Zealand. My grandfather was from Belfast. Ive managed to track records via ancestry.com with his siblings, but none of that is helping me find any of their kids or kids kids.

What I have been able to tell is some of his siblings stayed in Northern Ireland and passed away, there some in Belfast.

My granddad was Josiah Hegan. His siblings were:

Thomas

Ellen

Emma

Mary a.k.a Molly- I have been able to locate a possible married name of Mary Coard who passed in 2011

Iris

Isabel

Robert

William

George- I know had a record called Sure And They're Irish Songs By George! But this was recorded in Australia.

My granddad worked at Harland & Wolff before coming to NZ.

His parents were Josiah Hegan and Ellen Cairns

I dont know much else. If anyone knows a place I may be able to get information or as a long shot be related to me I'd love to find out more about them.

So first off, thank you to those who responded about a huge surge in sex drive coming back a couple weeks after surgery.

Hubby and I had sex, problem is he struggle to get in. Ive always been tight but it hasn't been a problem like this before.

Im feeling really disappointed, like is this the new normal? Hubby said it feels like part of my pelvic wall got thicker, making it harder to get past. He said its the part that he feels clamp down on him and he couldn't get past it.

Like what do I do? Im still waiting to see the pelvic floor team to help with relaxing muscles etc, but we never ever had trouble before surgery. Even had a farewell night a few days before surgery.

Feeling like for the first time since surgery ive failed as a woman.

Hello. I want to say first off I dont have FND, but one of my parents does. I am 36 and my parent isn't the best communicator, but this is something we are both working on together (relationship broke down over many things before FND diagnosis).

Obviously I dont personally have experince with their symptoms, but they are getting worse, I am an only child and its hard to see my parent struggle when I see them, but each time they are worse.

My question is has anyone had acupuncture and had some relief?

What can I suggest or do to help them when I see them?

My parent is waiting to see a specialist under the public health system so if there is anything or any advice so I can actually be helpful I would appreciate it

So I started a job a few months ago, and the 90 day period of my contract is up in a couple of weeks. I had declared at my interview I had an operation coming up and that it had a 6 week recovery, this was no problem. I also came off ACC due to PTSD from being assaulted at my previous employment

Tonight I randomly get an email saying im let go effective tonight.

I have evidence from a couple of weeks ago they were wanting me back and planning on how this would look. Even had a conversation yesterday about looking forward to returning.

I believe they have let me go due to my operation. I know I can't stop it because of the 90 day clause and the rules around that, but I was due back from the 4th July.

But im thinking of lodging a personal grievance due to the time off I needed for surgery I declared at my interview. Any advice

Tomorrow I am 4 weeks post op. I only have 1 ovary left,

Surgeon told me my ovaries were over sized, which is consistent with the PCOs diagnosis.

With still having 1 over sized ovary, did anyone have any PCOs symptoms reduce/go away? Im no longer taking OC and feel better for it. Given that my ovaries havnt worked properly im hoping that with 1 less, I'll be able to lose weight easier, and just in general have a better life.
