At My Wit's End. Please Advise!
Hey guys, I have been an Ebay seller for 5 years. Never a late shipment, 100% feedback, etc. Everything perfect. In February I had to go into the hospital due to a car accident and missed 3 shipments (I had no one to help at the moment).
Once I got out, I shipped out the items. Of course, Ebay restricted my account - I understood. In late March, they lifted the restriction and sent me a message detailing how my account was fully restored. For some time, they will release funds 3 days after delivery but after consistent deliveries, I will get it after the buyer pays.
That is NOT what has happened. They are holding the funds for 30 days. I have called 10 + times and each time, the agent could not help me. They each gave me a different reason - we're holding it to make sure you can pay shipping, it will be transferred on XYZ date (it wasn't), etc.
The only agent to help me escalated and gave me a case number toward the end of April. Three days later, I started receiving payouts. But then in May, no payouts again. All the money is sitting there on hold.
I've called agents this month and their replies range from "you'll just have to keep sending shipments on time and doing a good job" to "I think the problem is you should switch from daily to weekly payouts."
There is no reason this should be happening. I feel like I'm working for free for no reason.
I spoke to another agent tonight and he was a little helpful - he escalated it.
Has anyone ever had this happen or heard of it happening??
