Anyone shot a film entirely on a Helios 44-2?

Hey y’all! I am a student filmmaker making an experimental environmental doc (say that 3 times fast) and I wasn’t originally planning on it, but I’m starting to think I want to shoot the whole thing on my Helios 44-2 + an Fx6. I don’t usually shoot wide open, because I feel like it is pretty disorienting, but I wanted to jump on here and ask if anyone else has done this and has examples of their film.

I’m worried that having it for the whole time will make people sick lol, but it achieves exactly what I’m going for as a sort of “nostalgic, 50s horror suburbia” vibe.

Call for Submissions: What was your experience like as a woman in the Mormon Church?

Hey y’all! I am a filmmaker/intermedia artist. I am currently working on a big project about how it feels to be a woman in the Mormon church. I am coming at this from an ex-mo pov, so I admit it’s pretty biased, but the project leans agnostic.

I am looking for people to send anonymous submissions. It can be anything you want to get off your chest. It can be confessional, experiences, thoughts, philosophical… ANYTHING.

These submissions will be recorded as voiceovers by voice actors and will be scored by a composer with some visual elements added.

If you’d like to contribute, fill out the form attached. Thank you!!
