Factory : RCF w/ custom Lapis Lazuli Dial

Picked up this beautiful 40m submariner recently and was actually quite impressed with the dial . One thing I love about rcf is they have the best gold plating out of the factory and of course the weight .

Will be upgrading this crystal and the date wheel , so I wanted to ask the community for their opinion on the route I should go with on the datewheel

I’ve seen some of the older models with this dial with the “champagne” datewheel so I’m interested in going that route

Let me know what you guys think ?
Champagne datewheel to give it a more classic look or just stick with an upgraded white datewheel ?

Parts upgraded : bezel ring & bracelet

Decided to show some more appreciation for the mod 🐐 . This was my first Daytona and I was quite impressed with the overall construction of the vsf panda . When I was reading the reviews there was a big debate between btf and vsf in regards to the bezel , dial and bracelet . I decided to go with the vsf because the pros outweighed the cons and whatever flaws the vsf had I know I can eventually get customized if needed with li chens parts

The ceramic bezel ring from vsf was very good straight out of the factory , but based on my experience with Lichen’s parts in the past , I figured that regardless his parts would be a little better and I was happy I made this decision !

The lettering is deeper , bolder ,brighter , richer

That’s prob the best word to use when dealing with lichen . Everything tends to look so much richer .

Eventually I’ll come back around to upgrade the dial

Wanted to take a moment and share an experience with Lichen

I found this member about 6 months ago and every month since then I did some type of business with him . Upgraded ceramic bezels, dials , and bracelets on all my watches. Asked him over a million questions and he was patient enough to deal with all my stupid questions which I greatly appreciate 😂

I decided to get his modded 3285 movement which he modded with the counterweight freesprung and building a masterpiece around it . I had lichen BUILD me the watch with all his accessories

Everything about this watch is mesmerizing . A lot of money went into making this a true NWBIG piece .

Best part is I already own a modded original clean v3 Pepsi and the difference in appearance and feel is quite noticeable .

Got a friend a vsf batgirl and when I asked him to hold this watch and let me know if he notices anything diff and he responded “it feels different “

I go out of my way to recommend lichen on posts ( I was once told I sound like a bot just commenting on his post 😂) because I love his work . I spent a lot of money and worked on many projects with Lichen and can’t say enough to give this guy the recognition he deserves
