I just picked this up yesterday for $15, and they say physical media is dead

Hello, I have an opportunity to aquire a Sony Handycam CCD-TRV87 with a few accessories and 6 8mm tapes, 2 of which are Hi8. *the rest being video8* and it's on sale for $200 CAD. Everything seems to be in pretty good condition, and the camcorder itself is working and has been cleaned, but is it all really worth $200? I could probably negotiate the price down, but I would like to get some thoughts on this. Thanks!
