My son has started playing baseball within the last year. He’s always been in sports but never baseball. He’s got some raw abilities but he’s late to the game (12U). I’m trying to emphasize the need to work hard to get caught up to his peers and set a path forward for at least making the cut to play for his high school team, and also just good goal setting and work habits in general. What are some sneaky ways you get in some extra training with your kids to keep it fun and exciting while not letting them get burned out with constant baseball drills? I guess I’m looking to maybe Mr.Miyagi some extra training. We’ve played badminton before and have had fun doing it. So I plan on breaking that out more. That’s one thing I thought of. Give me some ideas or examples of things you do with your kid, or you did as a kid growing up.
