So I’ve seen some YouTubers say things like “boosted charge jump” and I was wondering how to do it. I think it’s like after a speed boost you charge a jump and release it as soon as possible but how hard is it? Also how much of a difference does it make?

I like the fact that the front gets good items at the start, but I hate it when I start in the back and at the first item set I pull boomerang red or something stupid like that. Like, why!?? Why does the back get bad items? I get that it doesn’t matter much on routes but on something short like Mario circuit it feels really bad.
