Most typical Lounge experience

I recognize some things I could have done differently. Still, this was not the finish I had in mind!

Tbh NPC drivers could had been less arguable if Nintendo promote them correctly

We know they're adapted from in-game track obstacles and promote as NPCs. Honestly, it is a fine and cute idea to have colorful creatures in driver seat.

So what makes the general roster controversial is how NPCs being the only newcomers, and consider the base game price isn't cheap, or let's call it a standard price. If consumers need to pay standard price for new game, I think such game project should put some real efforts in creating new contents including the drivers. The base roster would had been very all-around if we not only get newly introduced drivers but the NPC drivers as side dish. It feels like NPC drivers were put in hate target but they didn't have to be like this.

I'd use Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach as the examples, they're cheap clones and would not do harm if Nintendo promote them as bonus contents. But Nintendo sometimes put them as independent unlockables or purchaseables that are better for unique characters.

Super Smash bros' assist trophies could serve as a different example, where Nintendo officially acknowledge them sharing existed movesets but are allowed to participate, which wouldn't make fans think they didn't earn their fighter invites.

Gazpacho Tutorial

Yes, this strategy is named Gazpacho, and no one knows why.

  1. Get the edge trick as late as you can and instantly begin a charge jump, aiming for the pole.

  2. Release your charge jump as soon as you can and aim for the left side of the pole. After tricking off, hold right.

  3. If you get on the rail, pay VERY close attention to whether you get a slight wiggle. If you do, the forward trick will be slow, or you will simply go too far and fly off the rail entirely. If you get a clean attachment, forward trick instantly.

  4. After the forward trick, the hardest part of the sequence happens, and you have a THREE-FRAME window to perform the following left trick. Because of this extremely tight timing, sometimes you will fail and not know why, but rest assured, after having practiced this strategy for a long time, you will understand it better, and it will be consistent. Right after the left trick, shake your controller while still holding hard left, and now is the moment of truth.

  5. After shaking instantly off the wrench, hold left and left-neutral in the air and shake your controller right before you hit the ground to get the phantom. Obviously, I went a bit too far left and hit the off-road, but if I were slightly more right, it would've been flawless.

Important things to remember about this strategy: NO PART CAN BE DONE WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING PART. You need the boosted cj to get the correct height for a high and clean trick off the pole, and you need the forward trick on the rail so that the boost barely lasts into the following left trick. Without the forward trick, the correct left trick becomes impossible, and you will go OOB after shaking off the wrench.

Is there a reason Nintendo wants to start KOT rallys with 12 people?

That happens so frequently (EU server) that it has to be on purpose. Sometimes the countdown starts with 8 players and more people leave the lobby because of that.

Anyone knows why they do that?

Mario Kart World: Lunchbox

Hey All!

I’m new to Reddit. I’ve been playing Mario Kart World since launch and man is it a blast! The Dash Food in game, there is this lunch box. I really like the design and it’s something I’ve been looking for in real life to use for my lunch’s at work. Would anyone happen to know where I could purchase one similar online? I’ve tried searching myself but sadly nothing comes close.
