To the long term residents and locals. What blunders do you see foreigner tourist get wrong while visiting every day?

My partner and I in our 40s are going to be in Bali for 50 days working remote. We're not into the hustle and bustle scene of Ubud but are not sure we want to give up the walkability to live in a more remote area like Amed. We do like nature and the quiet life but I'm concerned it's going to be too isolated I did find a nice place that's a 5-minute ride to A.med by scooter. Seminyak keeps coming up but my concern is too far from any thing natural however since we will be working I'm wondering if I should give up being closer to nature for more modern convenience.
