I recently just went on maternity leave and my last day ‘worked’ was May 5th (I used some vacation hours for my last few shifts). I submitted my application for EI on May 7th, but it’s still under review and AHS has not yet submitted my ROE. My start date of my leave is May 7th as well.

When looking online, it states that for UNA AHS will submit an ROE once all shifts/sick bank are paid. My last 2 shifts won’t be paid until next Wednesday, so does that mean my EI won’t be processed until June? Will the EI payment be backdated to May 7th? I’ve never used mat leave/EI while with AHS so this is new to me. TIA!
