What is the best more unknown ways to get good, cheap, long term contracts. I noticed they changed a lot with long term contracts in this years game. It's a lot harder to get a player to sign long term for cheap, and it's hard to get them to want to stay/sign long term.

I use to just throw a player on a lower line or something to make him “worse” the sign him for cheaper but that doesn't work anymore. e
