Has anyone had any experience getting quotes for a new heat-pump that can take into account a future extention?

We are on heating oil and fed up of getting absolutely rinsed but have put off converting because we are planning on building an extention in the next couple of years.

At the moment our house is a fairly standard 1930s 3x bed semi, we would be enlarging the kitchen (scope for UfH) and extending out the side of the house to add a new bedroom and bathroom above a garage and utility room.
