It’s day 4 and things have had a turn for the worse.
I apologize in advance since English is not my first language.
I started four days ago with Vorxetil (I’m from South America but it’s still Vortioxetine and the manufacturer is Baliarda) after careful consideration since I kept reading awful comments about it. I was extremely depressed, no energy whatsoever and my anxiety was through the roof. The first day I took it , I immediately felt great and the same happened during the remaining three days. But today I woke up after a really weird dream a little sweaty , high blood pressure and my heartbeat was really fast. I felt kinda calm at first but then a weird itchy red mark appeared on my chest (it looked like mild eritema) and I started freaking out. I took my blood pressure like fifty times and started getting all time of crazy measurements. I went on a walk with my husband in an effort to stay calm and it helped my mind but not my heartbeat. I’m at 101 now and I’m freaking out. Please tell me if it happened to you and if it gets better. I was feeling great , almost euphoric but peaceful and I slept WONDERFULLY . Now anxiety’s worse than ever.
My psychiatrist is in a medical congress out of the country and I have no way to reach out to her.
I’m diabetic and I have hypertension but I don’t know my family’s medical history since I’m adopted. I’ve taken benzos before like alplazolam and clonazepam even trileptal (mood stabilizer) but it’s my first time on an antidepressant. I’m autistic and I have been diagnosed with GAD.
