Greg Bovino had defended the fatal shooting of protester Renee Good, a Minneapolis mother. “Hats off to that ICE agent,” he said at the time. “I’m glad he made it out alive.”
This article is a good read to see what kind of person Greg Bovino is. This link was buried in a previous post, but it's an important read for those in this area. This scumbag lives among us here in the Boone/Blowing Rock area. He doesn't deserve to be able to go out in public after what he did as the head of ICE. It's sickening that he literally got away with directing the murders of American citizens, along with all the brutal beatings of innocent people on the streets of America.

Has anyone seen Greg Bovino around lately? Or has he figured out that he’s not respected in this area? I’m hoping he’s decided to pack up and move. Boone doesn’t need Nazi wannabes hanging around and giving the entire area a bad name. My personal opinion.

I wanted to see if anyone was aware of any decent and safe budget accommodations on any of the islands. I’ve stayed at decent places in the $60-$80 price range on St. John and the coasts of Belize and Costa Rica, as well as slightly pricier visit to Negril, and San Juan and Vieques in Puerto Rico, but wanted to explore more out in the islands on a semi-low budget. Any recommendations on this price range or am I just fantasizing? $100/night and under would work.
